The Israeli Athletics Association congratulates Mr. Dobromir Karamarinov for being elected as the President of the European Athletics Union.
Dobromir spoke about the importance of having the European U18 Championships in Jerusalem this July 4th-7th 2022.
The European calendar was presented in Lausanne Switzerland at the European Union conference.
The European Calendar contains 7 events all year long in which one of which is the European U18 Championship that will take place in Jerusalem.
Athletes from 50 different European countries are planning to arrive.
This is the first time Israel will host a European Championship that includes all European countries.
President Dobromir mentioned the importance of having the championship and the meaning of its success.
