Personal Coaches MUST be registered for accreditation purposes in the European Athletics Entry System by the respective member federation no later than the final entries deadline 24 June 2022 (14:00 CET).
The total number of Personal Coaches (in-ratio and out-of-ratio) cannot exceed the total number of team officials (in-ratio and out-of-ratio) entered for the event. Two categories of personal coaches have been defined, based on numbers: in-ratio and out-of-ratio personal coaches (see below chart). Accreditation will be charged at the rates of 50 EUR for in-ratio and 100 EUR for out-of-ratio for the duration of the Championships. Personal coach Accreditation will give the right to: Transfer from the airport to one of the Accreditation Centres (see details below) Use the team shuttle service during the event Access the team tribune Access the warm-up and training areas Note: The personal coach accreditation card cost is NOT included in the accommodation cost. Member Federations will be invoiced for each personal coach accreditation. The cost will be included in the general team accommodation invoice which will be issued after the Final Entries
The maximum number of out-of-ratio personal coaches is to be calculated from the total number of team officials (in-ratio and out-of-ratio) and in-ratio personal coaches entered for the event. Indeed, the total number of personal coaches (in-ratio and out-of-ratio) cannot exceed the total number of team officials (in-ratio and out-of-ratio) entered for the event.
There will not be any hotel dedicated to personal coaches. Personal coaches/Member Federations should feel free to reserve any hotel at their best convenience. The personal coaches will have the possibility to express their wish to stay in one of the Team Hotels. Accommodation requests for Personal Coaches at the Team Hotels must be sent during registration process via a separate e-mail to the LOC (office@jerusalem2022.org.il) by no later than the Final Entries deadline 24 June 2022 (14:00 CET). Availability in team hotels can only be confirmed after 25 June 2022. Should rooms at team hotels be available, personal coaches will be accommodated in one of the team hotels without guarantee that this will be the hotel of his/her team. Upon confirmation of availability, the Member Federation Entries Manager will be requested to create an accommodation request in the event management system. Note: Room in the team hotels for personal coaches will be charged at the out-of-ratio rates (incl. the lodging fee) to the Member Federation and costs will be included in the respective general team accommodation invoice.
Please note that transfers from Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) to the Team Accreditation Centre (Royal Hotel) will be granted to all personal coaches if travel details have been provided. Please make sure that travel details are included in the event management system in due time. Depending on the booking of the accommodation, airport transfer will be provided as follows: for those who have booked accommodation through the LOC: transfer from the airport to the Team Accreditation Centre and then to the Official Team Hotel for those who made their own hotel booking (not through the LOC): transfer from the airport to the Team Accreditation Centre. Accreditation cards of those not requesting an airport transfer or without travel details included in the event management system will be available for collection at the Team Accreditation Centre. Only those personal coaches being accommodated in one of the official team hotels will then be further transported to the respective hotel. Transportation from hotel to training facilities and to competition venue will be organised as a shuttle bus service.
