Over 28 years of existence, many were the highlights of the history of Juventude Vidigalense. Among the collective and individual sports’ results, there is no doubt that the organization of international competitions is assumed as an important reason for pride.
After seven editions of the European Champion Clubs Cup (Under-20 – Group B) and last September Group A and B, two editions of the European Champion Clubs Cup (Senior – Group B) and after three European Throwing Cups, it is time to host the next three years of the European Throwing Cup in Leiria. It is an honour and a challenge to welcome the best European throwers in our city, showing the world our sports facilities and making everyone feel “the well-known” Portuguese hospitality.
We are grateful to our organizational partners – the City of Leiria and the Portuguese Athletics Federation – as well as all the supporters and sponsors who make this moment possible.
We hope all conditions meet to achieve great results and to make this competition a fabulous event to promote athletics and the Olympic spirit.
